Before Leaving, stop services on:	Return :  library books, other borrowed items
Cable Tv	Obtain: Refunds on any depsoits made, transcripts of childrens grades, credit referances,medical records,x-rays,shots,eyeglass prescriptions.
Telephone	To Do:  Defrost refirgerator, freezer, arrange for service to get appliances ready for move,transfer bank account, emptey saftey deposit box, buy travelers checks to cover expenses,notify local post office of forwarding address, write letter of introduction to new place of worship.
Water	Change Addresses for:  Magazines, book clubs, catalogs,draft boards, VA, Life Insurance company, Auto insurance,Household Insurance, friends and relatives,Credit Cards,Charge Accounts, Internet accss Provider
Gas	On Moving day:
Electricity	Leave Keys to house with Realtor, or neighbors.
Fuel Oil/Propane/Gas	Make arrangements for care of kids and pets.
Water Softener(if it is a rental unit)	Assemble a moving kit to take with you,(hammer,nails,pliers,masking tape,tape measure,flashlight,fuses,cloths,scissors)
Laundry	Make arrangements for meals
Milk	Take Old Telephone book for names and addresses.

Lawn
Diapers
Garbage Collection
Review Check Stubs for other services to be stopped
Cancel your homeowners policy
Make sure insurance on personal posessions is in force during and after move
